Anime Vanguards Teams: Builds and Version Limits
Checked 2026-10-14 · Update 15.0
The wiki Teams tab supplies the complete Wrath lineup below, with equipment and a reason for each slot. Its last revision is 23 September 2026, before Update 15 on 12 October. Use it as an older wiki synergy reference, not a newly tested best team.
Wiki Wrath Team: six concrete slots
This is the six-unit Build_content under Wrath Team in the official wiki Teams tab. The final three slots are explicitly element carriers in the source strategy, with permission to substitute other units with different elements. Their equipment is labelled irrelevant there.
| Slot | Unit | Wiki equipment tags | Reason to include |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Wrath (Assault) | Monarch; Birb; A Beast Plays with Deadeye Memoria trait | Damage core; Memoria benefits from different elements on the unit bar |
| 2 | Iscanur (Pride) | Monarch; Blazing Solstice; One Above All with Contagious Memoria trait | The explicitly recommended Wrath partner; Evils interaction |
| 3 | Ice Queen (Release) | Blitz; Foo; Ice Queen's Rest | Named companion; Blitz shortens its attack interval |
| 4 | Shinobi Sage (Friendship) | Trait, Familiar and Memoria labelled irrelevant | Element carrier; replaceable with another different element |
| 5 | Smith John | Trait, Familiar and Memoria labelled irrelevant | Element carrier; replaceable with another different element |
| 6 | Elastic Captain (Cog 5th) | Trait, Familiar and Memoria labelled irrelevant | Element carrier; replaceable with another different element |
Why the Wrath lineup fits together
A Beast Plays benefits from different elements represented on the unit bar, counted once per unit. Its Wrath specialty periodically copies another Evils unit's attack through a temporary clone. Iscanur supplies the named pairing, while the three replaceable slots broaden the elements available to the Memoria.
Keep those slots distinct in element when substituting; repeated units of one element do not reproduce the intended benefit. This explains the documented construction without assigning a measured DPS gain or claiming a calibrated optimum.
The source gives Ice Queen (Release) Blitz, Foo and Ice Queen's Rest. The wiki does not provide a step-by-step ability rotation for this team.
Mode and version boundaries
Use this as a planning reference for stages that let you bring these owned units and their equipment. The wiki Wrath entry does not identify a verified Infinite wave target or a fastest-clear stage. Its template contains Ruined City Raid with Show_Stages=false; that hidden field is not evidence of a tested stage-specific recommendation.
Update 15 changed unit damage and enemy health and removed Unit Ascension, including previous bonuses. This September lineup has not been validated here against those changes or the new units, Memoria and familiars.
Check element/category eligibility before using it in a restricted mode. It does not replace Smith John's fixed traitless trial loadout, and it is not a loadout for the separate True Shadow Monarch System and Shadow Trials. Older pass rewards and limited units in this lineup also require an acquisition check.
Beginner team roles
Ichiga has a documented raw deployment cost of 275 Yen and a placement limit of six, making it a practical early damage option rather than an endgame Overall recommendation. Pair an affordable damage unit you own with an income unit and utility that covers the stage. Do not spend every slot on expensive DPS before you can fund upgrades.
For Roku's trial, bring your own units and account for the Dragon Sphere stage buff. For Smith John's trial, the stage supplies the entire traitless loadout; your personal Monarch squad does not replace it. For announced Battle Towers, only matching element or category units will be eligible, and the towers are not open on the 14 October check.
Source review: 14 October 2026, live Tier_List wikitext and revision APIs. The lineup is copied from the named Wrath Team, not assembled from Overall ranks. No post-Update 15 clear-time, max-level DPS or AutoPlay tests were performed.
FAQ
What is the best team for infinite?
The complete Wrath lineup above is a sourced team reference, but the wiki does not attach a verified Infinite wave target to it. Its September revision predates Update 15, so this page does not claim a current fastest Infinite squad.
What is an Ichigo team?
Ichigo searches map to Ichiga. Its documented raw deployment cost is 275 Yen with six placements. It is an early damage option; build the remaining roles around the stage and units you own.
