Clear any Martial Island or Land of the Gods Legend act. There is a 2% chance that a Secret Boo Portal appears at the base; completing that portal guarantees Boo.

Finish the Legend act and check the base for the portal.
Enter the Secret Boo Portal and finish it; the 2% roll creates the portal, rather than being the reward chance inside it.

Equipment and team decisions

Candy Ball from Boo's trial unlocks Transforming Terror on placement, gives +3,000% damage, and makes summons deal triple damage to Overshield enemies. Those bonuses belong to the evolved unit with that familiar, not to an unequipped base Boo.

Trading and value

Only trade an item the in-game trade window permits. Limited units that remain obtainable cannot yet be traded. Levels and stats transfer; Update 15.0 removed Unit Ascension bonuses, so previously ascended units no longer receive those bonuses; traits and pity do not.
